As it turns out, letstakeamoment.com has nominated me for the ‘Outstanding Blogger Award’. Thank you so much! What can I say? Just to know that someone likes my blog that much, is quite frankly mind blowing. I hope you all get as much out of The Sanity Mentality, as I do writing it.
The rules:
1. Provide a link to the creator’s original award post. 2. Answer the questions provided. 3. Create 7 unique questions. 4. Nominate up to 10 bloggers. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the award’s creator nor the blogger that nominated you can be nominated. 5. Now let’s continue to support each other throughout 2021 for the Outstanding Blogger Award!
Now here are my answers to the questions provided by letstakeamoment.com…
What are your blogging goals for 2021?
Put simply, they are to grow, see where it all takes me. And more importantly, getting you, the reader, more involved through my interview mini series that I am planning, and taking part in more guest posts.
How do you plan to implement these goals?
Planning is key. And using the sense of achievement I know I will feel afterwards as a driving force, and take it one step at a time. Also by not putting too much pressure on myself. Labelling them as things I want to achieve rather than I must, gives me enough motivation, rather than overloading myself. I have already started getting things in motion, as you can see here.
What inspires you to write your blog?
The fact that somewhere, sometime I am helping someone – at the very least they enjoy what they read. I also love being insightful and exploring new ideas.
Why did you begin your blog?
It started as a way of getting my creativity out there. I understood that creativity was one of my strengths, I just wasn’t sure how to use that. So a blog seemed like a good place to start. And as I have had plenty of my own mental health struggles, I thought I could do some good with it, and help others.
What have you learnt about yourself?
That I actually have something to say – and people seem to like it! That in itself has built my confidence. The experience, as a whole, has been really helpful in terms of personal development, as well as cathartic.
What would you change about your blog?
I’m not sure there’s anything I would massively change, because that’s all part of the process – changing and developing as a person. But I am thinking of making the general layout more visual.
How do you feel about collaborating on your blog?
Currently, I have done one guest post, which was really awesome! I love the way you can meet some really great people through writing – so anyone, if you’re out there, I more than happy to collaborate!

They were all nominated by me for one reason – they produce excellent content! So I think it would be really worth your time checking their blogs out!

My questions for you to answer:
What do you like most about the blogging process?
Would you like blogging to be your full-time job, if it isn’t already?
Is there a story behind why you started your blog?
What would taking your blog ‘to the next level’ mean for you?
What kind of subjects or topics do you like to read about on other blogs?
Do you like other types of writing?
What is the long term plan for your blog?
Once again, thank you ever so much for the nomination, it means a lot!
