Dark Poetry Preview!

Sooo… As you’ll have seen (and if you haven’t you will now!), I am self-publishing a book called Prevailed Hope which will be available to pre-order from the 17th of July. You’ll also know the themes are mental health and recovery, and the poems themselves get more hopeful, but without a sneak preview how can you be sure you’ll even like the poetry? (Well, first of all, it’s written by me so what more could you possibly want?) Nonetheless, a preview will help get your imagination flowing. It will also help you decide whether you are going to click that pre-order button. There are a few ‘technicalities’ that I need to discuss, but first let’s celebrate… 11 DAYS TO GO!

And now, the preview.

(This isn’t dramatic at all…)

Internal Massacre – Property of Daniel Paice

How did you like it? It was dark. As I said above, the poems get more positive in reflection of my mental health journey. So in the next few months (closer to October; the release), I’ll allow you to preview a poem later on in the anthology. That way you can get an idea of the tone. Unfortunately, you can only pre-order an e-book version, which will then automatically download to your device on release day. However, you will be able to buy a paperback directly from Amazon on release day. Let anyone know, whom you think might be interested in dark poetry, about this release! -D
