I Have No Idea What it Means to be Posh

I don't consider myself posh (there are much posh-er people than me, Jesus).

Dressing up smartly makes me feel out of place (I struggle to feel proud), and I am quite happy to have days where I am just in my pajamas.

However, because I speak eloquently and fluently, I get the impression that people assume that I am middle class, and I have my elevenses (don't forget the scones).

(Also, would that be such a bad thing?)

As far as I'm aware, the way that I speak is fairly 'standard', and I do speak informally most of the time.

Having a higher range of vocabulary than most people has nothing to do with the way I pronounce my words.

Sometimes, particularly in person, the fact that I speak and write eloquently is commented on as though it is a bad thing.

So, it's reviews like this that really make me a smile.

My understanding of the English language and the way that I can use words is not a bad thing.

Most of the time, it is appreciated.

In fact, it is something to be celebrated.

Anyway, here is another great review of my essay! Thank you very much!
